At Castle Academy, we believe every child should feel inspired, supported, and ready to take on the world. That’s why we offer a rich and balanced curriculum designed to spark curiosity and develop essential skills for life. By removing barriers to learning and tailoring challenges to individual needs, we help all children achieve their best academically, socially and physically.
Our teaching is rooted in the National Curriculum and includes the core subjects: English, Maths, and Science, alongside Computing, PE, History, Geography, Design and Technology, Art, Music, Religious Education and French. We also place great value on personal development through Citizenship, Personal, Social and Health Education, Enterprise, and Outdoor Learning. Children are encouraged to collaborate, take responsibility, and grow in confidence.
Reading, writing, and maths remain a priority, but we also believe in learning that connects ideas across subjects. Our creative, themed approach keeps things fresh and helps pupils make sense of the world around them.
