At Castle Academy, we believe that strong partnerships between school and home are key to helping children thrive. We know that when families and school work closely together, children feel more confident, engaged, and supported in their learning.
We aim to build strong, positive relationships with all parents and carers from the very beginning. Whether your child is just starting school or joining us later on, we want you to feel welcome and involved in every step of their journey.
Communication is at the heart of what we do. We keep families informed through newsletters, our school website, the MCAS app, and parent consultation meetings. We also encourage parents to speak with staff whenever they have questions or concerns. Our doors are always open.
There are lots of ways for parents to get involved in school life at Castle Academy. We invite families to attend events such as class assemblies, performances, workshops and celebration assemblies. Our open events and curriculum sessions are a great way to see what your child is learning and how you can support them at home.
Parents are also welcome to support us in other ways – from volunteering on trips and reading with children to joining in with community events and fundraising activities. Every bit of support makes a big difference.
We are proud of the strong sense of community that exists at Castle Academy. By working together, we can make sure that every child feels happy, safe and inspired to do their best.
If you’d like to be more involved or have ideas about how we can strengthen our home-school links even further, we’d love to hear from you. Please contact the school office or speak to a member of staff. We are always happy to help.
Together, we can make a real difference in your child’s education.
